An opportunity has become available for a Property Manager to join Peregrine Corporation’s property department in Adelaide. The Peregrine Property team currently comprises eleven property professionals responsible for new property acquisitions, asset and property management, leasing, projects, development and facilities management.
Peregrine Property has a large and diverse commercial property portfolio which includes high-rise office buildings, retail centres, car park stations, industrial premises and development sites. These property holdings are in addition to our 160 company-owned fuel and convenience sites. We are constantly acquiring new property and reviewing, reinvesting in and developing our existing properties.
In addition to the organisation’s property holdings, Peregrine Property is also a property service provider for the various brands we own and operate as a tenant.
The Property Manager will work closely with other members of the Property team and be responsible for the delivery of property management strategies for company owned assets. In addition, as an internal property service provided you will foster strong relationships and provide support and advice to executives of other parts of the Business.

What will you be responsible for?
- Manage your allocation of the portfolio
- Undertake property management projects (in coordination with the Senior Property Manager)
- Strong focus on stakeholder relationships (tenants, contractors etc)
- Develop and implement Property Management and Facilities Management strategies for each asset to optimize performance (in collaboration with the Senior Property Manager and General Manager)
- Management of tenant financial obligations
- Annual outgoing reconciliations and budgets
- Organizing, conducting and finalising routine inspections
- Lease administration
- Provision of property related assistance to internal clients
- Management of maintenance and repairs to ensure the condition of properties is preserved/enhanced (in coordination with the Facilities Manager)
- Updating and maintaining the property management database
- Developing and maintaining property documentation and records.
The Property Manager will work alongside the other members of the property team in all of these tasks and will report directly to the Senior Property Manager and will work closely with the General Manager of Peregrine Property.
What skills and experience will our ideal candidate have?
The Property Manager will be looking to develop their existing skills by learning from and working in collaboration with our experienced property team. Ideally you will have some experience in a property environment, be it in administration, property management or facilities management.
The Property Manager will be driven with a focus on continual improvement, and relish working in a fast and varied team environment. The successful candidate will also have:
- Qualifications and/or specialist knowledge in a facilities management or related field will be highly regarded
- Superior customer service skills
- A passion for working in a dynamic small team environment
- Superior organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing and fast paced environment
- An open attitude to embrace any challenge as it arises
- Initiative, drive and self-motivation
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Strong abilities with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
